The Optiven Foundation is preparing for a comprehensive assessment of the Go Green na Optiven season 2 this September. As part of our commitment to environmental protection, we have identified 2 environmentalists to lead the assessment of the 20 learning institutions nurturing sustainable practices for the youth.

The assessment is aimed at evaluating the creativity and innovation of the students and the efforts by the Optiven Foundation in promoting environmental conservation.  Launched in March 2024, the Go Green na Optiven Season 2 campaign has been an impactful initiative, engaging schools across over 15 counties in a competition to innovate and implement creative environmental conservation projects.

The initiative encourages students to think critically about environmental issues and take actionable steps to protect the planet, recognizing and rewarding the best schools in the program. The assessors will be visiting all 20 schools, evaluating each project and their insights will not only determine the winners of the competition but will also provide valuable feedback to the students and schools.

Their wealth of knowledge in environmental conservation will be instrumental in assessing the creativity, innovation, and impact of the projects undertaken by the participating schools. “We need to create more incentives and bring more people to understand the importance of tree growing as it will go a long way in shaping the generations to come,” said James Kamau, Chairman Millennial Environmentalists.

As the assessment process begins, expectations are high among the participating schools and The Optiven Foundation remains dedicated to promoting environmental conservation through initiatives like Go Green na Optiven.
