Today, we celebrate the power of youth in shaping a sustainable future for our planet. This year’s theme, “Green skills for youth towards a sustainable world,” resonates deeply with the Optiven Foundation’s commitment to environmental protection and climate action.
Through our Go Green na Optiven campaign, we’re taking bold steps to decarbonize the world and combat climate change in line with SDG 13. Our efforts have already borne fruit (literally!) as we’ve planted over 70,000 trees, including fruit trees at schools, bringing a touch of nature to our communities.
But our journey towards sustainability doesn’t stop there. With over 13 counties under our belt, our county clean-up campaigns are making our neighborhoods cleaner, greener, and more vibrant places to live.
And let’s talk about green energy! We’re proud to share that we’ve illuminated approximately 500,000 hectares of Optiven housing projects with solar lighting installations, reducing our carbon footprint and embracing a future powered by clean energy.
