2018 SESP Eaglets

He comes from Kalapata Ward, Turkana South Constituency, Turkana County.  Leomonard schooled at Korinyang Mixed Boarding School, in Turkana County and attained 359 marks.  He joined Lodwar Boys National School, Lodwar, Turkana.  He was brought up by a single mother after the father passed on when he was only 1-year-old, she passed on last year and left him and his 3 siblings as orphans.  They have been supported by well-wishers ever since.  A good samaritan’s who rescued him from his suicide attempt and directed him to the media. He aspires to become a Judge. 

He comes from Kalia Sub-location, Matinyani Location, Mainyani Division in Kitui County.  He attended St. Paul’s Unyaa Primary School in Kitui County and attained 412 marks.  He joined Kitui School in Kitui County.  He has been raised by both parents who are casual labourers. He is the first born and has one sibling, a sister.  He aspires to be a Pilot.

She comes from Gakindu-ini Sub-location, Gakindu Location, Mukurwe-ini Division in Nyeri County. She attended Githagara Primary School, in Nyeri County and attained 382 marks. She joined Tumutumu Girls High School, in Nyeri County.  She has been raised by her single mother who is a casual labourer and is second born, she has 2 brothers.  She aspires to be Doctor.

She comes from Itiati Sub-location, Ruguru Location, Mathira West Division in Nyeri County.  She attended Itiati Primary School, in Nyeri County and attained 369 marks.  He joined Naromoru Girls Secondary School, Kirinyaga County.  She has a twin sister both raised by their single mother also joining Form 1. She aspires to be a Prosecutor Attorney.

He comes from Kabuoro Sub-location, Kamagambo Location, Rongo Division in Migori County.  He attended El Bethel Education Centre in Migori County and attained 385 marks.  He joined Kisii School in Kisii County.  He is an orphan and he was 4years when the father then mother 3 months later passed on, is the 5th born, has 5 siblings 1 brother and 4 sisters.  They were raised by his aunty and well-wishers.  He aspires to be a Doctor.

She comes from Ijara Sub-location, Ijara Location, Garissa Division, Garissa County.  She attended Umulkheir Girls Home and Primary School in Garissa County and 390 marks, a home for destitute girls from the region.  She joined Kangaru Girls’ School in Embu county.  She is the 2nd born in a family of six. Her father is deceased and her mother is a housewife and unable to cater for her education.  She has been brought up at the girl’s home.  She aspires to be a Neurosurgeon.

He comes from Eldama Ravine Division in Baringo. Meshack schooled at Bethany Bright Star Academy, in Baringo County and attained 382 marks. He joined Emining Boys High School in Nakuru County. The parents have no formal employment. He is a first born and has a twin brother and two other young siblings. He aspires to become an Architect.

He comes from Heni Karati Sub-location, Magumu Location, South Kinangop Division, Nyandarua county. He attended Heni Primary School in Naivasha and attained 372 marks. He joined Maseno School in Kisumu. Both parents are alive but unemployed. He is the firstborn in a family of three, he has one brother and one sister. He aspires to become a Lawyer.

She comes from Sajironi Sub-location, Sajironi Location in Central Kajiado Division in Kajiado. Soinato schooled in Gethsemane International School, in Kajiado County and attained 409 marks. She joined Asumbi Girls’ High School in Homa Bay County. She has been raised by her grandmother since she was 2 years old who was unable to educate her. At the age of five through the children’s department she was taken into the home. She aspires to be become a Lawyer.

He comes from Bakase Sub-location, Shompole Location, Magadi Division. He attended Gethsemane International School in Kajiado county and attained 428 marks. He joined Kajiado Mang’u High School, Thika. He is the last born in a family of seven siblings, three boys and four girls. His father died when he was very young and his mother unable to cater for his education. He aspires to be a Joseph’s dream is to be a Civil Engineer.

He comes from Kandara, Muranga County. He attended Githati Primary School in Thika and attained 389 marks. He joined Lenana School. He has been raised by his mother since his father passed on four years back. He is the first born and has one sibling, a sister. He aspires to be a neurosurgeon.
