The Optiven Foundation works towards creating positive impact for countless of individuals creating opportunities to overcome challenges and realise dreams. Clara Tola is a mentee from Dr. Wachiuri and her story details the transformative impact of the Optiven Foundation serving as an inspiration to many.

In 2017, the Optiven Foundation took Clara to their Soaring Eagles Scholarship Program enrolling her to Wanjohi Girls where she began her high school journey. Financing her education allowed her to focus on her education and in 2020 she sat for her Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) attaining a C+.

She is pursuing her Education degree at KCA University reflecting on the Foundation’s mission to uplift life through education. Not only that Clara has ventured into music continuing with her path of personal growth.
